đź’¨ Abstract
Over 72 million Americans are expected to travel during the 2025 Fourth of July holiday weekend, a significant increase from previous years. More than 61 million travelers will use personal vehicles, with travel trends showing a spread out traffic flow rather than a last-minute rush. Air travel is also up by 1.4% from the previous record. Fuel prices are lower, averaging $3.19 per gallon, but airline tickets are slightly more expensive.
