đ¨ Abstract
A cherished pet tortoise named Myrtle, missing after a tornado in Mississippi, was reunited with its family weeks later. The Emanuel family's home in rural Kokomo had two pine trees fall on their tortoise's backyard shelter during the March 15 tornado. A neighbor found and rescued the injured Myrtle, who received medical treatment at Central Mississippi Turtle Rescue.
