💨 Abstract

Kell Morris, a 61-year-old man, survived being pinned beneath a 700-pound boulder in an icy Alaska creek for three hours. His wife, Jo Roop, kept his head above water until rescuers, aided by a sled dog tourism helicopter, arrived. Seven men and inflatable air bags freed him. Despite the ordeal, Morris sustained only minor injuries and was hospitalized for observation.
