đź’¨ Abstract
Supporters of the Washington Commanders' stadium at the RFK site in Northeast D.C. went door-to-door encouraging residents to back the plan. They emphasized the economic benefits, including jobs and increased revenue for the city. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson announced a revised deal with the team, which includes $1 billion from the District for infrastructure. A public hearing and council vote are scheduled for next week and early August respectively.
