💨 Abstract
The D.C. area will experience dry conditions Monday morning, followed by rain and storms in the afternoon and evening. A Flood Watch is in effect from 2 p.m. to midnight due to potential heavy rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour, which may cause flash flooding, damaging winds, and frequent lightning. The storms will lessen by midnight, leaving mild and muggy conditions overnight. Tuesday will see fewer storms, with most of Wednesday expected to be dry.
