💨 Abstract

In Cambodia, approximately 2,000 people gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the Khmer Rouge's genocidal rule, which led to around 1.7 million deaths from 1975 to 1979. The event, held at the Choeung Ek "Killing Field," included a re-enactment of brutalities by student actors and testimonies from survivors like Nhem Sovann, who lost six family members.
