💨 Abstract
Hard-right nationalist Georg Simion, who lost Romania's presidential election rerun, has petitioned the Constitutional Court to annul the results, citing alleged foreign interference and vote manipulation by France, Moldova, and others, and claiming 80,000 votes were tampered with in Moldova. Simion, who obtained 46.4% of the vote, also suggested deceased individuals may have voted.
