💨 Abstract

In Odisha, India, Indigenous Adivasi villagers, led by women from 10 villages, are advocating for the protection and restoration of their communal lands and resources due to climate change impacts, especially the unpredictable monsoons that disrupt their traditional farming, fishing, and foraging. These women have surveyed and mapped the resources, showing a 25% decrease in common village areas and drastic reductions in local flora and fauna.
