đź’¨ Abstract
Japan's air force has grounded nearly 200 T-4 training aircraft for emergency safety inspections following a crash that killed two crew members. The plane, a 36-year-old T-4, crashed into a reservoir shortly after takeoff from Komaki Air Base. The aircraft lacked a voice or flight data recorder, complicating the investigation. Defense Minister Gen Nakatani announced plans to equip the training planes with these recorders.
