💨 Abstract
Violent clashes erupted in Tripoli, Libya, following the killing of Abdel-Ghani al-Kikli, a powerful warlord and commander of the Stabilization Support Authority (SSA). The fighting, which involved heavy weapons and lasted several hours, resulted in at least six deaths and led to the SSA's offices being attacked and seized by rival militias. The clashes were condemned by the U.N. mission in Libya, which warned of potential war crimes.
