💨 Abstract
NATO's procurement agency is cooperating with police investigating allegations of corruption and fraud in the purchasing of military equipment. The investigation, supported by Eurojust, involves current and former employees of the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) and spans Spain and Luxembourg. Belgian prosecutors have questioned two suspects in Flanders. The probe focuses on irregularities in contract awards for items like ammunition and drones, with suspicions of confidential information leakage and money laundering through consultancy firms.
