💨 Abstract
In the Philippines, Kanlaon Volcano in the central region had a brief, explosive eruption on Tuesday, sending an ash plume 4.5 kilometers into the sky. This is the third eruption this year after similar ones in April and December. A Level 3 alert remains in effect, maintaining a 6-kilometer danger zone. No recent injuries or damages have been reported.
