💨 Abstract
Polish officials announced that a massive fire at the Marywilska 44 shopping center in Warsaw last year, which destroyed 1,400 shops and affected many Vietnamese vendors, was arson ordered by Russian intelligence. The fire, which occurred on May 12, 2024, was part of a coordinated sabotage campaign. Some perpetrators are in custody, while others are being sought. The investigation involved extensive efforts by Polish authorities and cooperation with Lithuania.
