💨 Abstract
Belarusian opposition figure Siarhei Tsikhanouski, released after nearly five years in prison, spoke about the harsh conditions and torture he endured. Weighing significantly less since his imprisonment, Tsikhanouski was reunited with his family in Lithuania. He attributed his release to diplomatic efforts, particularly the involvement of U.S. President Donald Trump. Tsikhanouski plans to continue his activism and supports Ukraine against Russian influence.
