💨 Abstract

Two oil tankers, the "Adalynn" and "Front Eagle," collided in the Gulf of Oman, causing a large oil spill and prompting concerns from Greenpeace. The "Adalynn," part of Russia's "shadow fleet," may have carried 70,000 tons of crude oil. No injuries were reported, but the environmental impact is significant, with an oil plume stretching 1,500 hectares.
