💨 Abstract
Simon Tigawalana from Uganda improved his family's health and living conditions by replacing dirt floors with affordable, clay-based earthen floors provided by EarthEnable, a U.S.-based nonprofit. These floors reduce dust, infestations, and illnesses, and cost significantly less than concrete. EarthEnable also trains and employs local, disadvantaged youth in Uganda, contributing to both environmental sustainability and social needs.
