💨 Abstract
Princess Kako of Akishino, niece of Emperor Naruhito, visited Brazil to mark 130 years of diplomatic relations. She met with President Lula da Silva, addressed Congress, and thanked Brazilians for hosting Japanese immigrants. Princess Kako praised the bilateral friendship and expressed hope for a lasting relationship. She also received recognition in Sao Paulo and plans to visit key sites in Rio de Janeiro and Foz do Iguaçu.
