North Korea, in a statement via KCNA, reported the launch of a repaired destroyer on its east coast on June 11, 2025. Leader Kim Jong Un attended the event. The ship, previously damaged, is one of two destroyers built this year, aimed at bolstering North Korea's naval capabilities against perceived U.S.-led threats.
