💨 Abstract
A massive rockfall in Banff National Park, Canada, killed two people and injured three. Retired educator Jutta Hinrichs was identified as one of the victims. The incident occurred on the Icefields Parkway, a moderate-hiking trail popular with tourists. Eye witness Niclas Brundell described seeing a large section of the mountainside collapse, engulfing a group of hikers.
