💨 Abstract
Tropical Storm Flossie, located off Mexico’s southwestern Pacific coast, is expected to become a hurricane overnight with maximum sustained winds of 65 mph. It is moving northwest and has prompted tropical storm warnings and watches. Flossie is forecast to bring heavy rain to the region while remaining offshore. Simultaneously, the remnants of Tropical Storm Barry are causing heavy rain in eastern Mexico. The Mexican government is advising caution due to potential severe weather conditions.
