💨 Abstract
British lawmakers will vote on Friday, June 20, 2025, on a bill allowing terminally ill adults in England and Wales to end their lives. The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill, backed by Labour lawmaker Kim Leadbeater, would permit adults over 18 with less than six months to live to apply for an assisted death, if they can take the fatal drugs themselves.
