💨 Abstract
On the summer solstice, Ukrainians celebrated Ivana Kupala, an ancient tradition honoring fertility, nature, and renewal. Despite the ongoing war, hundreds gathered at the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Ukrainian Life near Kyiv to participate in rituals, folk dances, and crafts. The event, marked by a bonfire and purification rites, offered a respite from the conflict. Participants emphasized the importance of preserving Ukrainian culture and passing down traditions to future generations.
