💨 Abstract
The United Nations Security Council is set to vote on a resolution on June 3, 2025, demanding an immediate and unconditional ceasefire in Gaza and the lifting of restrictions on humanitarian aid. The resolution, drafted by the council’s 10 elected members, also calls for the release of all hostages held by Hamas and other groups. The U.S. is expected to veto the resolution, as it did in a similar vote last November.
