💨 Abstract
In July 2025, China’s first indigenously built aircraft carrier, the Shandong, docked in Hong Kong, aiming to boost patriotism. The carrier, accompanied by two destroyers and a frigate, will be open to the public. The Shandong, China's second carrier, is smaller than U.S. carriers and carries 24 Shenyang J-10 fighters.
