💨 Abstract
In Austria, severe thunderstorms triggered a mudslide in the Gschnitztal valley, Tyrol, covering homes and mountain huts. Around 100 people were evacuated by helicopter, including residents from Gschnitz and three mountain huts. The mudslide and subsequent flooding caused significant damage, including the destruction of an open-air museum. No injuries were reported. Authorities advised residents to stay indoors and avoid certain areas while monitoring the situation.
