💨 Abstract
Torrential rain in Romania caused flash floods in the northeast, resulting in at least one fatality and hundreds of evacuations. Rescue teams, including helicopters and firefighters, aided trapped residents, with 890 people evacuated from Neamt County. A 66-year-old man was found dead in the floodwaters. Images showed destroyed vehicles and homes amid raging muddy waters.
