💨 Abstract

The Gaza Strip is on the brink of famine, with widespread death predicted without immediate action, according to the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC). Conditions have dramatically worsened with increasingly stringent blockades by Israel, leading to extreme lack of food, acute malnutrition in children, and hunger-related deaths. In Gaza City, nearly 17 out of every 100 children under 5 are acutely malnourished. Despite international pressure and some Israeli measures, the situation remains dire.
