💨 Abstract
Former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was ousted in April 2025 was indicted on additional charges related to his controversial imposition of martial law in December 2024. Yoon's actions were deemed illegal because he only sought approval from specific cabinet members rather than all, and he tampered with official documents to justify his decree. The martial law attempt was nullified by the National Assembly, leading to Yoon's impeachment and eventual arrest.
