💨 Abstract
Two men, Daniel Graham and Adam Carruthers, were convicted in May 2025 for felling the iconic Sycamore Gap tree near Hadrian's Wall. The tree, famous for its appearance in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves," was cut down in September 2023, sparking global outrage. Evidence, including video footage and metadata, implicated the pair. They face up to 10 years in prison.
