💨 Abstract
Hurricane Flossie, now a Category 1 storm, is strengthening off Mexico’s southwestern Pacific coast with winds at 140 kph (85 mph). It is moving west-northwest, approximately 260 km (160 miles) south of Manzanillo, and is expected to skirt the Mexican coast, bringing heavy rain and potential flooding to Guerrero, Michoacán, Colima, and Jalisco.
