💨 Abstract
Turkey will start delivering natural gas from Azerbaijan to Syria on August 2 via the Kilis pipeline. This initiative, supported by Qatar, aims to boost Syria's electricity generation from 3-4 hours to 10 hours daily. Turkey, which previously backed Syrian rebels, now supports Syria’s new government. Ankara plans to deliver 6 million cubic meters of gas, producing around 1,200 megawatts of power.
