💨 Abstract
The U.S. has announced it will withdraw from UNESCO, the U.N.'s educational, scientific, and cultural agency, citing anti-Israel bias. This is the third withdrawal, the second under President Trump's administration. The decision will take effect by the end of December 2026. The U.S. had rejoined UNESCO in 2023 after a five-year absence.
