💨 Abstract

On August 12, 2025, Jordan, Syria, and the U.S. held talks in Amman to discuss Syria’s reconstruction and security improvements post deadly clashes. The focus was on the reconstruction of infrastructure and diverse economic rebuilding strategies. Key discussions included the restoration of an oil pipeline between Iraq and Syria, essential for boosting Syria's economy. The estimated cost of rebuilding Syria has skyrocketed to over $400 billion.
