💨 Abstract
Egypt's Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly visited Beirut to help prevent escalation between Lebanon and Israel over Hezbollah's disarmament. Egypt, which has a peace treaty with Israel, has been working to de-escalate tensions. Madbouly's visit also aimed to strengthen bilateral ties and address regional issues. Meanwhile, a committee monitoring the U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah met, focusing on security, reconstruction, and economic progress.
