💨 Abstract

On December 15, 2025, New Delhi experienced severe air pollution, with levels reaching over 449 on the air quality index. This led to the cancellation and delay of numerous flights and trains, and hospitals saw an increase in patients with breathing issues. Authorities advised residents to stay indoors and wear masks, especially vulnerable groups. The pollution is exacerbated by crop burning, vehicle emissions, and industrial activity, with long-term solutions urgently needed.
