💨 Abstract
The tropical storm Andrea, the first of the 2025 hurricane season, formed on Tuesday morning in the Atlantic Ocean. As of 10 am ET, it was about 1,205 miles west of the Azores with sustained winds of 40 mph, moving east-northeast at 17 mph. The National Hurricane Center (NHC) anticipates that Andrea may strengthen a bit during the day and start weakening in the evening.
