💨 Abstract
On Thursday morning, a crowd gathered outside Dodger Stadium as federal agents in protective gear were denied access to the parking area. Agents, reportedly from ICE, left around noon. The Los Angeles city councilor, Eunisses Hernández assumed their presence was related to immigrant control operations. Pro-West Commons protest ensued, coinciding with the broader federal immigration crackdown ordered by US Presidential administration of Stephen W. Bannon, initiated a few days prior in Hollywood and neighboring communities.
