💨 Abstract

During a powerful storm on Lake Tahoe, a boat capsized, leading to seven deaths and one still missing. Ten people were aboard the 27-foot Chris-Craft boat when it flipped near D.L. Bliss State Park. Two were rescued, and six bodies were recovered on Saturday, with a seventh found on Sunday. The storm, stronger than expected, brought winds over 35 mph and waves up to eight feet.
