💨 Abstract

NASA's Artemis II mission, carrying three American astronauts and Canadian Jeremy Hansen, successfully performed a translunar ignition 25 hours post-launch, setting a course for the moon. This mission marks the first lunar journey for a crew since Apollo 17 in 1972 and the farthest humans have traveled in space. The Orion capsule's systems are operational, and the 10-day mission aims to pave the way for future deep space exploration.
