💨 Abstract
2,600 Canadian seeds, including lodgepole pine and red maple, are traveling in space with the Artemis II crew to raise awareness about the conservation of native trees. The National Tree Seed Centre in Fredericton, which houses over 13,000 seed collections, aims to highlight the importance of seed conservation due to climate change. Additionally, Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen is part of the mission, and University of New Brunswick volunteers are tracking the spacecraft.
