Actor Jason Hoganson, 53, was re-arrested the day after his release from a 18-month sentence for attacking his ex-girlfriend, on suspicion of assault and breaching a restraining order. This occurred as part of a UK prison service emergency plan to free up prison beds, where offenders serving sentences of fewer than five years were released after spending 40% of their term in jail, instead of the usual 50%.
