Major U.S. banks have closed 65 branches in the past three weeks, with over 1,000 expected to close by the end of 2024. Bank of America has closed the most branches (132), followed by US Bank, Wells Fargo, Citizens Bank, and Associated Bank. The states hit hardest are California, Pennsylvania, Florida, and Ohio.
