Coronation Street star Peter Ash, who played the role of Paul Foreman, has been announced for a new role following his emotional exit from the ITV soap in September. After a 5-year run, his character was killed off due to motor neurone disease, with viewers witnessing his declining health over 18 months. Recently, Ash reprised his role as a ghostly vision for a few episodes, appearing through the eyes of Paul's husband Billy.
