John Lewis Christmas advert features an original song by Richard Ashcroft, Sonnet, and launches a nationwide search for a popstar-in-waiting on TikTok. The two-minute advert tells a story of a woman finding the perfect gift for her sister by traveling through time in a John Lewis store. The winner of the competition will have their cover version of Sonnet played on the Christmas advert and released by BMG, with proceeds donated to charity.
