💨 Abstract
Transport for London (TfL) is testing AI cameras to detect people on railway tracks at some London stations, aiming to prevent passenger incidents on the Tube network. The technology, which has already been tested on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and at Willesden Green Underground station, uses AI to spot objects on the tracks, ignoring train movements. If an incident is detected, station staff will be alerted.
