💨 Abstract
A newly discovered deep-sea creature, Bathynomus vaderi, has been named after Darth Vader due to its resemblance to the Star Wars character. This isopod, also known as a seabug, can grow up to 32.5cm and weigh over 1kg. It resides in the darkness of the deep ocean, feeding on scavenged remains of marine life.
