💨 Abstract

A former Eton student, Douglas Clifton Brown, 56, was found guilty of attempted murder after threatening to throw his former partner, Camilla Welby, down a well. The incident occurred after a disagreement in a car following drinks at a friend's house in August 2023. Brown attacked Ms. Welby, changed routes, and drove to High House Estate, where he intended to throw her into a well.
