💨 Abstract

In Chongqing, China, Hongyancun Station on Line 9 of the Rail Transit system is the deepest metro station, located 116 meters below ground level. It takes 10 minutes and 8 escalators to reach the platform. The station, which opened in 2022, has become a tourist attraction due to its unique design.
