💨 Abstract
British acting legend Sir Mark Rylance took a pay cut to save the historical drama "Wolf Hall," according to its director Peter Kosminsky. The show, which aired in 2015 and won multiple awards, was only able to be produced with Rylance, Kosminsky, and the writer sacrificing a portion of their pay. The second season of the series took almost a decade to be made due to funding difficulties.
