In tonight's Emmerdale episode, Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) and Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) continued their affair, but Dawn ended it due to her commitment to Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle). Joe announced he would be leaving for a business trip. Earlier, Joe had a car accident after taking painkillers and was discovered by Dawn. Joe denied having an addiction, but Dawn was skeptical.
